All profits from our original London Lockdown Prints collection will be donated to the following charities:

Woking Mind and Black Minds Matter.

Total Money Raised in 2020

£2,421

In light of the pandemic, we at Wanderrover have decided to raise money for two mental health charities who are providing invaluable, professional support during a time of unsettlement and uncertainty. Accessibility to mental health support is in demand more than ever before, yet community fundraising in a lot of cases has seized due to the restrictions of lockdown.

We thank you for buying our London Lockdown Prints and helping contribute to both of these incredible causes.

Woking Mind Charity

Woking Mind

Every year, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem. Most of us will know someone who is struggling or you may have challenges of your own. The reality of poor mental health is it can happen to all kinds of people, from any walk of life and background. It can affect all areas of a person’s life, from their social interactions to financial situation. It doesn’t just affect the lives of those struggling, but also the people around them. However, when there is the right combination of clinical, social and emotional support, people can and do start to experience positive changes in their mental health.

Woking Mind have been supporting adults with mental health issues in Surrey for over 40 years. They provide a wide range of preventative, early intervention and recovery mental health support including drop-in sessions, peer support groups, creative and physical activities, one to one support, social support and signposting to local services where required. They are affiliated to the national charity Mind, which means they meet their high quality standards, have the benefits of a wide range of experiences and knowledge from a network of Mind associations but are able to work locally to meet the community’s needs. They are also responsible for fully funding their own services and are very grateful to everyone that supports their work with their donations and fundraising efforts.

Black Minds Matter

The effects of racial discrimination across the country, the cases of violence against black individuals such as the recent George Floyd in the USA and the many historic incidents in the UK, are deeply triggering. Treating mental health must be a priority in the fight for equality and welfare of black people in the UK.

Black Minds Matter seeks to enable as many black people to have specialised help, connecting black individuals and families with professional mental health services across the U.K. Their mission is to make mental health topics relevant and accessible for all black people in the U.K. For those in need, they have created a website to connect individuals with a specialist practitioner, keeping confidentiality and dignity as their focus. Black Minds Matter cover the costs of these arranged therapy sessions. In this state of emergency for black people's wellbeing, they are grateful for everyone who supports to help them bridge the gap and start many black individual’s journey towards improved mental health access.
